Q What is Player’s Pub Poker League (PPPL)?
A We are a NJ based corporation that holds “No Risk” poker tournaments at various venues throughout Northern, Western and Central Jersey as well as Pennsylvania. (See Where to Play)

Q What does “No Risk” mean?
A Patrons of hosting venues do not risk money or anything of value to participate in the tournaments – therefore, it is “no risk” for each player.

Q If it is “No Risk” why play?
A Players enjoy our league for many reasons: for the camaraderie, to hone their poker skills, to reach personal goals, and to qualify for our regional tournaments.

Q How old do I have to be to play?
A You must be 21 or over to play.

Q How do I sign up to play?
A Just arrive at any venue thirty minutes prior to play time and fill out a membership form with the Poker Manager. (See “Where to Play”)

Q Can I change my pin number?
A No, unfortunately, once a pin number has been issued, it cannot be changed without losing points accumulated to date.

Q Is it necessary to give my mailing address, email address and telephone number?
A Yes! If you qualify for the tournament, you will be notified through one of these channels and you don’t want to miss a tournament!

Q How do I track my points?
A You can track your points by going to the “stat” page. This page will enable you to see your stats by “quarter to date” and “year to date”, as well as each venue you played at.

Q How long does it take for points to be posted?
A Our goal is to post the stats within two weeks of a game date. If after a two week period you do not see your points posted, an e-mail can be sent from our website at “contact us”.

Q Do you have an on-line poker site?
A No, we do not offer online poker, nor do we condone gambling online or otherwise.

Q How do I qualify for a regional tournament?
A The top 150 point leaders will receive an invitation to the regional.

Q When are the regional qualifying cut-off dates?
A The cutoff dates are as follows: August 31st, December 31st and April 30th. Tournament dates and locations are posted on the website, once scheduled. (See “Events”)

Q Are my points transferable from NJ to PA?
A No, the points earned in NJ can only be accumulated toward qualification in a NJ regional and likewise for PA.
